Located in Tavronitis, Kissamos, one of the prettier spots of Western Crete, it offers a peaceful environment and a panoramic view.

Description of the location

The house is built on a green hill in the village Tavronitis Kissamou in western Crete, which is one of the prettier places in Crete and has all the elements for a comfortable, unforgettable stay.

The village is very green with orange and olive groves, only 500m from the crystal clear sea and the organized beach, where you can find a number of picturesque taverns serving traditional Cretan food, and a number of food markets in a distance of up to 2km from the center.  The area is wonderful for walks and can be a fabulous starting point for exploration in nearby areas, which are famous for their beaches and the beautiful natural environment with mountains and green fields.  There are numerous spots where the traveler can swim, have a coffee or a Cretan ‘raki’, or enjoy Cretan specialties in one of the traditional taverns in the area. Besides all that, the area offers a variety of monasteries, small museums and ruins from the ancient to Venetian and Turkish times.  The view from the balconies of the house is unique and simply wonderful as it combines sea, green orange and olive groves and mountains.  Regarding transport facilities, again Tavronitis is a transport center with bus connections to all directions every half hour.
